How cool is this. A Classic Mini Brigade has been formed to honor those intrepid souls who have made cross country trips in their classic Mini. Really cool grill badge.
Nope. Gotta be a classic. And you have to have done a 5000 mile trip in it. I don't qualify with a 3000 mile trip in Aus in a classic or the 2100 mile drive home from Cleveland when I bought the classic I have now.

Would I get better milage if I had less fun?
Here is a bit of news for any of you classic Mini folks running around on this board, especially any with an A series engine. We have a treat coming to us at Mini Meet East. David Vizard, author of several Mini tuning books, including How To Modify Your Mini, will be at Mini Meet East to kick of grille badge presentations to the classic Mini owners who are to receive the first Classic Mini Brigade awards. Those qualifying for CMB status will have made a transcontinental trip, east to west, or north to south, of at least 5000 miles, in a classic Mini.
If you have one of David's "bibles" bring it along for him to sign. Early registration date has been extended to those envelopes postmarked by Tuesday, May 29.
