Wondering what the MINI E does in the 1/4 mile?

It goes 15.9 at 88mph in the quarter mile. I did this last night at a local track. I ran it a few times just to be sure and it ran the same every time. Its funny 88mph is exactly the speed that the Deloreon needed to go in Back To The Future to travel back in time. By the way , Motor Trend says it goes 16.5 seconds, i guess they cant drive as well as me.

Perhaps car magazine journalists are considerably fatter than SJMINI.

maybe it was Car and Driver. I do weigh 220 lbs and the car had 75 percent charge when i did it. So they must really be fat or bad drivers. Alot of people asked me if it was a turbo and i just popped the hood and smiled.

Good info SJMINIE. I use to drag race and that's very decent run for a stock car.

And since I use to drive an EV1 in 1997 that was 0-60 in 8 secs., the 88 miles per hour is back to the future!

I wish I had taken the EV1 to the track too.
