I thought I'd start a thread for the New York Event. It sounds like the LA Event was a big hit and I'm looking forward to meeting the east coast Pioneers.
If you're going, chime in here. We'll also report in after the event.
I'll be there and couldn't be more excited. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I'll be going to the event myself as no one in my family or inner circle of friends is as gung ho as I am.
Ok, for those who are keeping track, and there seems to be very few of you, I posted the card I will be handing out tonight so I don't sprain a wrist writing my email address over and over.
I hope to meet a lot of fellow Pioneers and other bloggers at the event. Feel free to stop me and say, "Hello."
It was really great. The big surprise for me was when Marc Alt, the evening's guest speaker, started his slide show with my MINI E Pioneer business card! He used it to point out the blogs and forums and how this is as much a social event as it is an individual one. Marc said that we should expect to be approached by curious people and have a responsibility to be spokes-people for electric vehicles.
It was also great to meet others in the Field Trial and hear that they, too, feel that a network of participants willing to allow others to use their chargers would be a good idea.
As Stan said, Robert's blog has more details. Mine will also have details and pictures soon. Also, MINI's event site has some pictures from both events.
