I'll post a new photo when I find my digital camera.
I like Dragonflyer's idea. When I floated this idea, I was thinking all toys; diecast, models (plastic & metal) and toys of both the MINI and Mini types.
Separating out the toys would be like having separate threads for print ads from the dealer and those taken from magazines.
It could get so categorized that we would end up with 1:6th scale, 1:8th scale etc..... all the way to 1:87th scale threads. I say lump them all together!
Found a new one last night at Target - Matchbox new series "#7" - Hyper Blue MCS
I sent a bunch of those out to folks as Christmas gifts! Nice color and design, however I think the JL's are overall a better quality model then either the MB or the HW.
While you're out looking, there are new Johnny Lightnings hitting the shelf. A Street Freaks Black MCS and a 2005 Lightning Strick CR/Amer Flag MC. I've got them both but only have a pic of the black one.
And yes Clo if you are watching this thread, I've got an extra Black one to send you!
