Being an artist and a gearhead I have created some Mini inspired art. Among other sports cars.
One of my ideas was of a front view of a BMW Mini with and older Austin Mini reflected in water under the car. Of course just had to do a similar version with the Austin on top.
Seeing as how I work in a digital medium it was not to hard to create Non Cooper S versions and to make the art in a way that the body colors could be changed and options like hood stripes and fog lamps added to deleted.
Hey Dave Really nice ! Gotta love those Mini's . Did not see a 2008 (just a coop) only the S ? But by looking at your site it appears this would not be too much trouble for you to create. What is your software of choice ?

So I am a Visualization Major at Texas A&M and I had to do a final project for my art studio this summer. He just said to do something you were passionate about.
I chose 18 6x9 canvases in a 6x3 grid. Here are just two pics of it. I have lots more in this facebook album:
I just sent a message to the editor as well... I do a lot of automotive related painting. My most popular items are tee shirts and R/C cars. Unlike most of the airbrush artists people see in the malls, I don't do stencils or fuzzy cartoon characters. My stuff starts with an actual photo of a car, it's drawn on the surface and then painted. Once I get this latest batch of work done, I'll do another show shirt for myself that will feature my new MINI. I've even thought about doing a clock too.
