Where are they? Limited MTTS 2008 RIDEMAKERZ MINI Thread

Hello and Welcome to the unofficial thread for the Limited MTTS 2008 RIDEMAKERZ MINI!

I found mine at the Chicago event. I own #50 of 50. It's very cool with working lights front and rear. Custom wheels and MTTS branding.

50 of 50 is in Round Lake Beach IL

Maybe one of the other owners can start one of those map deals too.

UPDATE, just copies from below:
RIDEMAKERZ partnered with MINI USA to provide Limited Edition RZ Minis for the 4 MTTS events. We produced 50 of each series. Series I (red bonnet stripes) was sold at Miami and Boston. Series II (white bonnet stripes) was sold at Road America and the remainder will be at LA this weekend. These are a limited edition ride which would normally sell for $35+ in our shop but we also added remote control, so these have a retail value of $60+. MINI is donating 100 percent of the $50 donation to the selected Motoring Hearts charity in each market. So you are not only getting a unique numbered ride, it is for a great cause. In LA, the RIDEZ will be sold next to the RIDEMAKERZ booth display by the MINI folks. Hope those of you who were lucky enough to get a RIDE have a great time with them!

MINI USA "says" they are only selling them at MTTS events to raise money. I was "told" they didn't have them at Miami and only a few in Boston. I know they sold more then a few on Sat at our Chicago event. I paid $50 from mine. I'd bet if they don't sell the rest at LA MTTS then they may end up online at MINI USA or RIDEMAKERZ or maybe a local dealer/store.

They had them in Miami but for the money I wasn't impressed. Seemed like you were paying extra for some MTTS stickers and a hand-painted serial number.

They must have been gone when we went by the Ridemakerz tent? I saw people with boxes, but didn't see anything for sale when we went and talked to them. Probably wouldn't have gotten it anyway, though... depends what they were raising money for, I suppose.

Thanks for letting me know. I was really upset that they weren't selling them at the Owner's Only party on Friday. Now I don't feel like I've missed out.

The "proceeds" went to a Cancer Org, don't recall which one, that plus what I thought was a unique and limited MTTS keep sake made the $50 easy to spend. Now I'll mod it such that I can return it too OEM if I every thought about selling it.

Here's a pic of my 3 RC MINI's on the roof of my R50.

See, totally would have hunted one down if I had known all that. Thanks for the info.

I love my Ridez (and yeah, I paid well over $50 for the first one).

I picked up #36 of 50 from series 2 in LA this weekend. At the end of the weekend, it looked like they had less than 10 left. The charity in LA was some tree-planting thing.
I hit a royal flush for $1,000 a week and a half ago, so I was allowed to buy the $50 RideMakerz limited edition.

Just had to use the 20% off and get my MTTS MINI Mods. But only Mods that can be removed without diminishing the OEM RideMakerz.
