We had a lot of fun and great success with the first 2 meet, now people keeps coming back for more! At the moment more than 16 MINIs are signed up, so it'll be a fairly big event, and surely great fun to have a whole bunch of MINIs together!

An update, there are over 11 MINIs signed up for this already, and even more that doesn't read the forum will be coming. So just show up that day, most of us don't know each other, so you'll fit in just fine!
I'll shoot some digital video as well. Got the rear camera mount sorted out, and the sticker on the rear window is no longer in the way.
Heads up....I will no longer be posting on MINI2. No longer have an account due to a disagreement with a moderator. They are all on power trips, and I was fed up.

haha. As an admin on another board, and a moderator on yet another board I had strong opinions about it.
Let them know on MINI2 that I will have my rear camera mount (camera pointed backwards), and will be shooting video of the group. So I will go near the front of the pack. 2nd? Might reverse the camera and take some in car video on the trip back.

I think MiniVee will be trying to take videos from the front of his Mini, then we can combine those two video clips into one

On a sidenote, it is quite strange that Mini2's Canada forum gets so many more posts than "North American" motoring.

20 MINI's woo hoo. One hell of a way to attract attention from the cops though.
I think the difference is b/c of the structure of the 2 forums. This forum is difficult to find the forum section, and when you do the Canada link is all the way at the bottom.
Now that really suck, first time I hear about it and today the weather was awesome and I was trying to find an excuse to take the MINI out for a last spin before the winter, this would have been a fun trip going from Edmonton to Calgary for a meet, next one will have to be next spring for me, that is way too bad I missed that one, if you would have posted an update yesterday or Friday, I would have been there, I had nothing to do today, that's a bumer, oh well, next year maybe...

It was a great meet! I had a good time. Of course as the lonely American in a sea of Canadians, I was still able to represent my home state of TEXAS! I enjoy the fact that I had the dirtiest mini of the day and will be taking up a fund called CLEAN MY MINI FUNDS. All donations will go to cleaning my car and to some canadian beer.I hope you guys will donate anything you can.
