London to Brighton Run

On July 22nd the Indiana British Car Union will hold it's annual London to Brighton Run. Cars of all British makes will participate in this fantastic run with no timed stages, check points, tricks, traps or driving skill sections, just fun challenging roads.

The route is 110 miles starting in London, IN and finishing in the Crawfordsville, IN area. The run will start at 9:00 am with the first car off at 10:00 am.

You must register and the event costs $40 ($50 for registrations after July 15th) and includes registration, maps, instructions, and banquet/awards presentations for 2 people (additional awards meals available for $10/person).

For more information including hotel info and printable registration forms look on the IBCU's website (www.ibcu.org).

The route starts south of Indy and ends northwest of Indy, so basically around Indianapolis. It's a good time every year!

No the rally is just called the London to Brighton. Originally they had a London to Brighton Rally in GB to celebrate the speed limit being raised.

From what I understand the London, IN to Crawfordsville, In is the same distance as the original London to Brighton rally.

MrsDiff and I are strongly considering this run. Sounds like fun with all the other British cars.

Any Chicagoland MINIs going?

I'm considering making the trip down if I can get a co-pilot... is anyone from Chicagoland making the trip? I plan on staying the whole day, but will go home after the dinner.

If anyone is interested in meeting up, let me know!
