*EDIT - Heritage Days Parade Follow-up* We took 2nd place in the motorized division (Corvette club won again )
First off, let me say thanks to the guys and gals who came. We had 5 MINI's involved, and they all looked great
Well, for the first time ever, The Huntington Heritage Days Parade had MINI's and we were a hit We heard all kinds of GREAT comments during the 1 mile long parade.
Here are some of the pictures that my fiance took with our new Canon Digital Rebel (we're still trying to figure this thing out )
Here are some Heritage Day's Car show pictures of Bill's Cooper and my S, a shot of my fiance's and friend's original '79 Beetle, and my dad's 1970 Chevelle 454 LS6 is in here too
Awesome! I was on the website, but couldn't post. I'm gonna have to get in touch with Bill Florent, as I think he has subscribed to the MINICCI, and see if he can't post up this information on there as well.
Or, if you wouldn't mind, could you post a thread on the forum there about this? If you could, I would greatly appreciate it!
Well, we have less than a week to go For those who I have contacted, here is a link to the First Church of the Nazarene in Huntington. We will want to meet there at the church by 8:30 - 8:45 AM so we can head out to enter the parade. We're pretty much in the middle of the parade so I would say we should be done by 11:30-12:00 range. We can discuss this later on Saturday, but if you would like, we can hold a little get-together afterwards at Applebees or another food joint.
