Sharing an idea for photographs involving the new R56 MINI.
Nice composition Juan. Looks like a nice portal for framing many motoring shots.

I think DAVE or someone took a pretty cool pic like that
It wasn't me, but I have seen a couple others do it. I thin wickedgolf did a shot like that at the Detriot show, and I know I saw a similar photo in CAR magazine when they did an R56 article.
i guess w/ a hole like that it's just asking for it. the only other car that i can think of w/ holes in the bonnet like that is the old 8-series bimmer
Mmmm, kind of... I believe that Juan is using the headlamp hole in the bonnet to "frame" a subject, not simply show "hey look, there's a big hole in the bonnet!". One of the photos in your links showed a head framed in the bonnet hole and I'll agree on that composition. And yes, I'm being a PITA nit-picker, sorry, I'll stop.

You have Minis inside your Mini! Great photos, and good idea using the hole. I'll have to think of something else to do with my '06.
After looking at all the amazing photos on this forum the last few months, I finally gave in on Saturday. My Canon Rebel XTi flew from Nevada to Pennsylvania today and should arrive here in VA tomorrow. Looking forward to this weekend!

Perhaps mini should add "picture frame" to the standard features list since so many have interpreted it that way. Then take video of new owners looking all over their new minis to find where it is...
