This was taken this morning by my office. The flowers are probably weeds, but certainly colorful enough.
Any chance next month's photo contest theme could be flowers so I can have a fighting chance and before everything goes brown here?

Hmm, wild mustard, eh? I'll have to show this photo to the wife then because I think this is the same plant found in China that the local villagers used to make cooking oil from. Small world.

About 60 miles north of San Jose where the yellow mustard is flowering, I've seen crocus peeking through the earth and have also seen some hill sides covered in paper white lillies already.
