Is anyone else participating in the 365 Days project (take a self portrait every day for 365 days)? Or do you have any photography-related "resolutions" for the new year?
I'm giving the 365 Days project a whirl, but at day 4 I'm finding it hard enough just to remember to take a picture during the day, let alone one that's creative!
In general I want to try to take more and better pictures, but that's not so much a resolution as a goal. I'm hampered at the moment by having left my tripod in Germany. Doh!
I've been working on improving my skills in general (even though its been 2.5 days since my last exposure!!!) Be sure to post some of your shots in the show us your face thread (might be able to convice a few others to give the project a try too!)

Brian, believe it or not, I was actually looking at this on Flickr and thought of starting on my birthday last Thursday. Alas, as with some b/day celebrations, libations took a role.
I'll probably start sometime this week. (I've already joined the group.)
Excellent, Juan! I'm sure you'll give me some great ideas.
I haven't uploaded any photos in the last couple of days, but I have *taken* some (even if they're very blah). Last night I bought a new tripod and head, a Manfrotto 3021Pro tripod and 488RC2 ball head. My old tripod has yet to show itself after my trip to Germany last month, so I bit the bullet. So much for my resolution to plan my spending a little better!

I did a photo a day in 2003. A lot of them were night scenes of my desk at 11PM Just keep at it, you will learn a lot about your camera and yourself.
I actually got the idea from a workshop with Ruth Bernhard.
