I live in Suburbia, I haven't seen what I consider an interesting location in well over a month any ideas appreciated.
Also here is a chance to show off some of your interesting location photographs to inspire otheres or a few interesting shots of a mundane location as a means of approaching the coomon place ina unique manner.
Juan, I didn't realize a Lomo was so sharp. I've been toying (get it? wahahaha) with the idea of getting a Holga and, for some reason, I've always thought a Lomo was the same sort of thing.

Mark,
Lomo LC-As are at there best when you use the "infinity" setting, unless you're a good judge of distance.
Holgas are cool. Just make sure you get plenty of black gaffer's tape!

Interesting. Thanks, Juan! If I get a Holga, I'm probably going to get a modded Holga from Randy Smith. Nice guy, too. I emailed him a question and, five minutes later, my phone rang and it was him. He had looked at my web site, got my phone number, and called to answer all my questions.
Are we looking for special locations, or common locations that anyone can find and use for good pictures?
For the second, parking garages are always good, and should be easy to find.
Similar to parking garages are large, blank walls:
Light is probably as big a factor in getting a good shot as location... so scout out somplace that will get sunlight either early morning or late evening, then use it.
For special locations, the "floating bridge" in Brookfield, Vermont (bad picture from an interesting location):
Awesome photo! (I might have to steal that for my background)
It reminds me of one of the "official" MINI photo wallpapers that I got from their website a few years ago. It has an EB MINI sitting in what looks like a warehouse
with an open roof and light shining down on the car.
WOW! beautiful! now I gotta try and do this one in 3d!
3d?
Following Jray's suggestion, I set it as my desktop wallpaper and I'm actually a bit disappointed; the overhead light and the reflection are kind of distracting ... I'm going to have to figure out how to deal with that, because I'd like to print this one out and hang it.

Ha! This is the Flickr page for that image. I was just messing around with a new toy; the MINI's been nestled in the garage for the last few days. But any location can be a good one if it's colorful and blurry enough!
