Had a great time at SOW last weekend. Met a great guy in a vette, who happened to be turning the fastest laptimes of the day. He decided to film several of us, just because he was a good guy and knew we'd enjoy watching it.
1:28 is VERY impressive. I only saw 2 people below 1:30
Vette (Oli) - 1:22
Evo - 1:26
I should have been able to get into the 1:33 range, if I drived a bit cleaner lines and had better tires. I had a leak in one of my tires, so by the end of each session I was only running 10psi (made the backend a bit squirly).
I actually met you at Steve's Auto Clinic, when I got my pulley on. I believe my dad gave you his lower grill, since he bought the M7 one.
We'll have to get you out to the next one...get a better mini showing
Gary

The entire days worth of pics are here if someone can pass the link to 'vette guy, I m sure he can find something he likes. I have uploaded the full resolution versions of the files too - so you can make our own posters
Very very cool. SoW was the first track I ever got on. I took my motorcycle (an SV650) out there in October of 2002. Actually, it was Halloween; one of the instructors was wearing a monkey suit (furry, not tuxedo). It's funny how well I remember that track, given that it's been over four years since I've been there, and we ran in the other direction (guess you never forget your first time!). That bowl was just fantastic, even going downhill. I hope to get back out there someday!
Congrats! Some nice video there! Gotta find out more about his telemetry setup; that's really neat.
