Thought I'd pop my head in and show-off a couple of the first MINI related photos taken with my new Sony R1. I've finally decided to get fairly serious about the photos I take so there is still a lot to learn but I think it'll be a pretty fun process

Of the two, I like the interior photo the best. The way the red stitching shows up as highlights with the lighting is nice. The first one is a good angle for the MINI - nice and low, also with good highlighting of the wheel detail.
At least on my screen, both the photos appear slighly underexposed. That may be due to on camera exposure setting or post processing (levels). Or it may just be the difference in monitors.
like the second shot myself. the first shot had too much going on in the backround (the two other cars and overhead wires), did like the brick building in the backround and the rims. Just got myself a new Rebel-xt, so I hope to start taking more pictures and going to the next level myself.
