4hrs of sweat in near 100 degree weather got me this...

so i decided to (of all days) finally wash/clay/wax the mcs and i like the results i swear i must've lost about 5 lbs from sweat alone. made it to near 100 degrees here in Chicago

Armorall car wash
Black Magic clay bar
Meguiars NXT wax

what do you guys/gals think? next mods will be euro grille and piaa driving lights

Agreed. IMO, only thing that would have improved this due to the large expanse of sky would have been a polarizing filter for added overall contrast and depth in the sky.

I like this shot. Nice color too.
Humidity saps it out of you.

Wow! Looks AWESOME!

/slight thread hi-jack... FINALLY!! Another CR/B MCS WITHOUT bonnet stripes! I commend you! :D There are few and far of us between. Love the wheels though! I am planning on getting a summer set next year in black... it goes good with the black roof, plus I think it gives it a "serious mean" look about it!

thanks

yeah i resisted the bonnet stripes...thought the car looked cleaner that way...even though a little out of character for a MINI

i had to toughen it up a bit after my co-workers called it a "Barbie car" my male ego couldn't take it

True... the lack of bonnet stripes is a little out of character, but we all have to be different in the MINI world. We can't all be getting bonnet stripes, now can we? ;)

What do your co-workers think of it now? Are there a lot of MINI drivers in the Chicago area?

The PL filter would also help to minimize the reflection on the door, if you're into that kind of thing. :-)
