Anyone want to give some feedback?

Hi all

just toying around with my old Cannon camera... i'd love to hear some feedback, none of these are shot in auto mode, all in manual...

camera is a Cannon IXUS 3.2 mp camera... still waiting on my cannon S80's arrival, but until then, i got the bug to learn how to take better pictures... so whether it's good or bad comments, feedback, advice, please do not hesitate

thanks again!

EDIT: I still dont get why the top pic is bigger than the others... anyway, here's a link to where they are:

My favorite one is the first one. I'd like it better if that red light wasn't on though.

They all look good, and I love your front splitter!

I like em.

But I don't know squat about photography, just a learner myself.

Kyriian, I had to do a quick double take on the speedo photo while looking at the number's reflection in the chrome (really like that). Took a moment to register the higher number values on the speedo thinking "wow, their Mini has been modded for very high speed". Quickly found the km/h and northern neighbor location and laughed to myself.

Seriously now... Nice to see more photos of another DS MCS.
Photo 1 is nice, just wish it didn't have the blue distraction in the lower left portion of the photo and the red idiot light. Of course I like to see some speed registered on the speedo too (legal speeds of course), but that's certainly a much more challenging photo or PS work.

Photo 3 has a good balance between the foreground and the correctly exposed clouds in the background; my favorite photo. A slight shift of the camera and you'd have a classic "rule of thirds" photo which is typically pleasing to the eye.

Photo 5 has nice lines to it which draw my eyes throughout the photo. From the circular arc of the yellow no parking stripes to the flow of the MCS along the building. I personally might have placed the Mini further to the right, but I'd miss out on the yellow arc and maybe the nice reflections in the window.

That's my $.02 from my amateur eyes. Look forward to seeing more...

thanks for the kind comments guys! my basic camera right now is limited in its function, but then ive had it for... more than 4 years.... and its just recently im playing around with it until i get my hands on my new camera that's 6000 miles away at my other home!

ill most likely do a zaino job in about a week or 2... then ill try to get some night fotos!

as for the red light.. as much as i hate it... i really gotta restart my computer..... see if that'd clear the code for not having an airbag in the seat anymore...

Considered removing the LED?

Technically 3 and 4 are the better photos, but I much prefer photo 1, but it may have something to do with the fact I love a twilight speedo, lit orange but still plenty of face illumination.

3,4- the thing I would have done a little differently here is pay attention to the front plates, probably would have eliminated it alltogether (cropped or adjust camera position) to keep the same look and balance without the added distraction.
