Wow you did capture the one moment the tire was off the ground. Were you shooting single shot or multi-shot mode at the time?
BTW, I enjoyed the post processing on this one.
I really like how the look and feel of it are very much in line with a lot of your other photography, to the point that without a name on the bottom, I'd still know you took it, even though we don't see panning shots from you that often. Your personal style in processing is something I always enjoy seeing.
I wish our autocross courses were big enough to get up that kind of speed.
I do get one of the rear wheels quite a few inches off the ground pulling into the local Burger King, though. It's got a fairly steep "ramp" going in, so you can come to a complete stop with one rear wheel in the air.

Dave,
It was a single shot. Talk about luck eh.
Sometimes I pan too fast so I end up with everything in blur. That happened with all my shots of that Electric Blue from H-Sport on Saturday. I kept overestimating his speed so the shots came out to blurry for my taste.
Thanks for the compliments on the processing. Having a polarizer on the lens helped a little.
I've gotten so close, but not quite! This pic was taken of me by a photographer out at the Dixie SCCA a few months ago. I'm still waiting for the picture that Killboy took of me with my tire possibly off the ground on the dragon.

Looks great Juan. Fantastic as always. Love the Auto-X shots. I guess someday I need to get out to an auto-x event or two. For both driving & Shooting...
