I wasnt going to settle down until I knew I had a better way to get motion shots. So I inveted in new glass and got me the 18-200 VR lens. HOLY CRAP is this lens awesome. So we went for a ride tonight. attached is the link of 132 pics, some not good at all, some really cool, take a look. Here a few teasers. I was amazed that traveling 70mph, on bumpy CA roads, I was able to take a 2.5 second exposure and get such a clean shot as seen below:
Minimal blurring, 2.5 second exposure time, F/4.0, ISO 200. All while being HELD in my hand. What an awesome lens. Some of the good ones:

Those are cool Lee. I really like the one of Monica, but she looks so serious! She normally has a really nice smile. I'll have to check out the other pics tomorrow.
Did you try what I suggested? (about looking for a curve in the road sporting those yellow signs with black arrows? I kind of remember sections of the 43 towards Bakers having them.)
Oh yes Juan, take a look at the pics, I tried utilizing signs as much as possible! Thanks! Will be getting the twistie signs next time we go out
The smiles didnt come out as good ;)
