MINIs cruising Valley of the Fire, NV (AMVIV III related?)

A buddy of mine was on vacation in Las Vegas this weekend and snapped some pictures of some MINIs cruising around the Valley on the Fire on Sunday. He knows I am a MINI fanatic and sent me these pictures. I suspect they were there as part of the AMVIV III event.

Enjoy!

Yes, that was during the AMVIV Valley of Fire run on Sunday. Nice shots.

Hey I recognize that PS/B MCS Cabrio! Thanks for posting these rdelar01!

Hey, Agro, I posted some pics yesterday but they aren't there today. Did I forget to wash out the license plate info? Is that a requirment? I apologize if it is since I didn't. Should I wipe that out and repost them?

Michael

One of these years I'll make it on that run...I didn't get off the top of the parking deck much this year but I definately want to make that drive at some point. It looks like a great place! Nice pics too

Michael, it's not a requirement. I never saw the reason for blocking out the plate myself, but some people wnat to do it. I have 200+ pics of my own to go through, I'm not going to edit other people's as well.

Emily, VoF is beautiful, you have to do it one of these Vegas trips. Do those comments mean you're coming back next year?

I just love it when a group of MINIs ona drive together, take over a rest area, gas station, or restaurant parking lot. Last time we did it, the locals thought that they were getting a MINI dealership!

That's a company called Pink Jeep Tours. I think the started in Sedona with real Jeeps and take people off road. Here they use pink Suburbans and stick to the pavement in areas like Valley of Fire.

Ah yes. I've heard of them. I have also seen a few pink SUVs. Just the other day I saw an Explorer about the same shade as StoopidGirl's. The paint job wasn't nearly as cool, and of course neither was the car.
