I'm working on a concentration for my final semester of studio classes at the University of South Carolina and I need some help from everyone out there. I need any images you may have of dilapidated billboards (or empty billboards that have had the paper torn from them, showing the layers of images that once occupied the space). So if anyone has any of these, or sees anything like this in their travels on the interstates, please take a picture and send it to me with your name. When works are exhibited or if they are ever sold I will give necessary credit where credit is due. Thanks everyone.
Not quite a billboard but almost. If you're interested in brick walls painted with advertisements, I could provide you with some of those as well. Good Luck!
macncheese- those advertisements are just fine as well, as a part of the images deal with old advertisements. so anything else would be great. Thanks a ton
Do they have to include a MINI in it?
Old brick walls count? That's all we have. Billboards were stopped many years ago here, I know a guy who built one of the last ones.
