Depends on what the DPI are. If it's at 300 DPI you can probably set it to 72 and increase the width.

However, if it's already at 72, then you might have an awful-looking image trying to enlarge it.

I don't really know what that means. I am working with "photoimpression" that came on my computer so I don't think I have much to work with. I'm able to change the aspect ratio (width and Height). After I change this, how do I place it on a thread. I tried a test of doing this but it did not show up in a large form.

That thread didn't really help. Do I need to have my photo's at another site that I can retreive them from there url address. It would seem that someone in the camera and video section would want to help a fellow nam member out.

Sorry, I assumed that you knew how to upload pics since you already have eight photos in your gallery.

The answer to your question is yes, you do need to have them on a site to retrieve them.

Thanks blacknblue for responding, that's what I needed to know. I know how to upload a picture to my gallery and to a post but I didn't know how to post it as a full size shot. Do you have a favorite site to post picks? Do they cost money? Again thank you for responding, Sometimes I feel like nobody cares about the beginners. You have made me feel much better .

Paulie,
There are quite a few photo hosting websites out there. Some people use Photobucket while I prefer Flickr. I also have my own website to host pics at.

Check out the article at the address for more info:
http://webmonkey.com/webmonkey/06/01/index4a.html

As for posting pics as full-size shots, that would depend on where you host them. What browser are you using, Firefox, Safari, Netscape, or . . . uh . . . Internet Exploder?

Not sure if this is what you are wanting to do but I'll try to help.

To get the URL of the pic, go to the website where it is posted, and open the pic you want to use. Right click on the pic, and select "Properties". In the Window that opens, highlight the URL shown, R Click, and select "Copy".

Above the message box is a small box with a 'mountain' on it. When you click it, a window opens where you put the URL of the picture. Enter the URL(or R Click in the box and select "Paste") and it should appear in your post.

It's been a while since I have done this and can't remember if is actually shows in the post or as an attachment to the post. If it is an attachment, you can click on it and it opens full size in a separate window.

Hope this helps/answers your question.

Thank you Blacknblue and Mishka for helping me. Because of you both I can now print full size pictures, which I'm going to do right now. I wanted to show off "BOOs" new shoes. Thanks again.
