got my new camera

I'm probably going to get the D200 after it's been out for 6 months or so and price drops the first step... but until then I was looking for a nice camera to use until I'm ready to go full-system with a new digital SLR.

anyway, to get to the point...
I've been working at a major camera chain part time for the last 2 months and have had a chance to really use and handle most any camera I am interested in. after all the decisions, research and whatnot I got myself a panasonic FZ5. It's got an amazing Leica lens, optical image stabilization, 12x zoom and takes incredibly crisp pictures with that big, beautiful glass up front. I'm looking forward to actually having some time after the holidays are over so I can take a bunch of pictures of my new MCS!

also, if anyone has any questions about specific camera models I may be able to help give subjective opinions based on my experience with most models.

I'm working on it guys... with the holiday I didn't get much of a chance to take any pictures of the MINI... although the camera was great for the photos of family and whatnot. On the way to xmas eve dinner I came across a lime green classic Mini and took a few shots. unfortunately I didn't have a tripod or proper lighting to get any really good shots.

either way, here's a link to my flickr set for MINI pictures. hopefully it will be filling up pretty soon!
