How does this one sound: Konica-Minolta Dimage Z10.
3MP, 8x optical. Has very good reviews from what I have seen.
Any thoughts?

I'm not familiar with that particular camera, but I bought a Konica Minolta 5D digital SLR recently and I am happy with it. I have had a Minolta 35mm for several years and have no complaints with it, either. I have always been quite satisfied with Minolta products.
