DID's work is exceptional so with inspiration my buddy and I did some experimentation tonite. Still working on getting the sharpness down (my camera mount is a bit bouncy). I also made a mistake of using too high of an ISO setting (didn't realize it until later). The car is filthy cause of all the snow. I've got some other ideas for mounting that i'm going to develop. Anyway, what do you all think?

I agree but not for the reasons others may think.
You might've only been driving under 10mph but it's the appearance of agressive and/or safe driving you might want to keep in mind.
That's what I really like about the first pic. Nice job at motion photography.
Don't worry, car is not even running. I'd say car was really moving at a speed of 0.5mph LOL

Thanks for the comments. Like I said these were experiments, the weather has been bad all week so the car was filthy.
I can understand the comment on "agressive driving" This was not the intent, just more for humor/wonder. I'm not an agressive driver by nature, leave it all on the track . Regardless, I'll remove the two shots from the original post.
again thanks for the comments, i'll be attempting more as soon as the weather gets better.
DID like I said before, your work was the inspiration...thanks!
cheers
Amit

That's generally a pretty sensitive question. Most of the people who do this, myself included, wind up investing a lot of time, effort, and money into the design and fabrication of their rigs, and as such aren't that open to sharing them.

FYI, a trained greyhound running along side the car with a camera strapped to its back doesn't work out as well as one might think either.
LOL....Neither does strapping it on to a Baby Indian Elephant.
I agree, it took me a while to figure out a rig, did research all over the web and couldn't find squat. Now that i've got something to work with the ideas are begining to really flow. Till next time....
cheers
