We are going to Italy in Februaury to visit my brother, who lives in Piacenza. He ski's frequently and he is hoping we can learn to ski while there(nothing like learning to ski in the Alps!) Not sure if we will try the Alps (Italy or Swizterland) or the Dolomites. He was going to the Dolomites this past weekend to ski and we haven't heard what he thought about the slopes there.
I just hope to still be able to walk afterwards. I imagine it will be tough to tour Italy on crutches.
