in car on track split screen (cooper and cooper S)
I've discovered how to do a split-screen video. So, I took a lap from a Cooper S (with some mods - 15% pulley, intake, exhaust) and split screened it with a lap from my Cooper. Not an entirely fair comparison, as I was solo, and the other car had a passenger and was being driven by someone other than the owner (an instructor that also drives a MINI), but it's the best comparison I could find on my computer.
The footage from my car is shot at a wider angle than the footage from the S, so things look a little different. I did mess up the audio a little bit - only the sound from my Cooper present.
Thanks... I need to figure out how to get one of onasled's NHIS laps from a wmv file into quicktime so I can add that to the comparison, too. But that might be too depressing for me.
As I understood it, Carl was in fact driving his car in that video, no?
I had compared those two as soon as Pete posted Carls. Nice to see you drive you Cooper about as fast as that S.
Don't forget that Carl is an instructor, in fact he was my first one, and has a ton of experience at NHIS.
Good job.

Yeah, you're right. I thought Carl was driving Pete's car, but I was wrong. So, I may be wrong with the mod list for the Cooper S... Pete's has a pulley, intake, and exhaust - but that's not Pete's car in the video. I don't know what Carl has done to his S... But, he sure did put in a bunch of consistent laps. Not counting traffic slowed laps, they were all within a second or two of eachother.
