Flash question

I am going to buy a flash for my Digital Rebel and was wondering if anyone had any good advice on what type of flash to buy? Where to buy it? What to look for? What brand? etc.

Thanks,
Brad

I have the Sigma EF-500 DG Super flash and I am very satisfied, I use it on my Digital Rebel.

I heard there's a new Sigma flash out, you might want to check into that! Good luck.

Check out the Sigma and the Canon 420EX. The Canon would now be cheaper since the 430 EX has come out. Both of these are decent for night photography (upto 15 feet) and for fill flash.

If you are really hard pressed, try SunPak. If you are really loaded, try the Metz line!!!

If you are in the north east, b&h or buydig. Calumet is supposed to be good in the midwest.
