If you use the filters that the camera might have...you could get some really nice stuff

Nah, the street lights behind where already on, they are reflecting in the rotors..

Thanks everyone.

Tuls: Nice photoshop... I played with it a while afterwards, but decided to leave it this way, as too much saturation makes it look almost fake..

Yeah I prefer the original unretouched photo as the color hues are more in line with the MINI. Maybe a red sky would look awesome with a Chili Red.

Great photo!

This should definitely be in the Camera/Video forum.

What camera did you use?

Sorry about the wrong topic thing... Got mouse happy.

It's Canon EOS-300D or Digital Rebel as it's known in the US.

That's ok, we're corrected now. Great shot! What lens and settings did you use? Just curious how long of an exposure etc. It's very dramatic. I just bought a Nikon D70S a few weeks ago and love it.

It's a stock lens, EF-S 18-55mm, f3.5-5.6, which is quite unfortunate as it's not the greatest by far...

Settings are: f5.6, s1/100, ISO i think is 400, but could be wrong.

D70 is a nice piece of equipment! Congrads! (I'm just a Canon freak)

right on...the sunsets here (in AZ) look like that so I am spoiled I guess ..heheh...plus I have Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome which effects many people in negative ways like migrains and such which I do get...however for me colors are very vivid which helps me as an artist....eh I hope LOL (me shrugs)

Here comes the sun...

Actually, it looks like the yellow MINI is lighting up the sky with yellow. Great sun--rise!

beautiful sunset. i would have just cut out the mini frankly. it actually spoils the picture. i say this because i don't see the point of having the car in the picture. you captured a truly beautiful sunset...really impressive, and that alone makes me just ignore the car. besides, the car is underexposed...and trying to get the lighting right on a car with the sunset on the background is never easy.

anyway, wow!
