Video camera mount?

I would like to get an idea of what camera mount others are using in their MINIs. I'm not talking about the vacu cam, but rather mounts that attach the camera directly to a roll bar or harness bar. THoughts?

Have you looked at these headrest mounts?

Yes, I had seen them. I am going to use the camera in two different cars, both with harness mount bars. One of the cars has race seats, so that eliminates the headrest mount. I'd like to mount to the harness mount bars. I am thinking along the lines of the Brey-Krause mount, or the IO Port mount. I wondered if people had experience with these or others similar. Thanks for the input.

Take a look at this DIY mount and see if it fits what you're looking for. I've seen a few on some MINI at track days.

I've got the Chasecam, and it's pretty nice. It took me a little while to get the perfect mounting position, but I think that was pretty much user error. I have a lot of fun with it!

I used the IO mount in both these videos. Mount it to my diagonal bar on the roll bar and it seems to work great. Very easily adjustable.

In car cams are great if you track. You can get through a track day and while driving home think about how great you did. Then when you get home you pull out the tape and play it back and watch how not so great it really was ..
Excellent learning tool that will help you go faster for sure.

i didn't see if you still have back seats but, that's where i mount mine. it uses both headrest to keep it steady. i'm pretty sure i did a full write up on mini2 using the same screen name. check that out and see what you think.
