Stunning!!!!!
Several should be Mini adds to fight the usual "cute" factor. These mini's look anything but cute.
Job well done.

cheers guys
wait till the big boys arrive, DiD and Hafid
their pics are truly awesome - simple!
im just trying to get close :D

Nothing really done with the actaully pics other than bordering and desaturating here and there and a bit of blur to give a bit of depth, other than that the pics are as i shot them.

Very nice work. I really like #3, but I think the reflection of the second mini detracts from it slightly. Either way, better than I can ever accomplish. Thanks for the view.

Lots of nice stuff there. Nice work.

A few constructive thoughts if you don't mind:
1) The very top part of the photo the rocks look a bit washed out by the sky. Either that or there were some low clouds that are causing that top section to appear a bit over exposed.
2) My favorite shot of the series, and you can see the entire hillside is much more uniformaly exposed.
3, 4, 6, 8 & 9) I would like to see a pure B&W version or a pure color version. My bias would be to stick with one or the other to keep a more traditional photo appearance.
7) The background looks like more of a photoshop blur than a wide open aperture. It's a nice shot, so if you have an unblurred version, please post it.

That's a great location and you did a lot of good work. I would be very happy with that set.

One more thought, since you know your way around photoshop, use the text tool and put some copyright labels on your photos.

Looks like you had some fun!

I like the first one, is it a vertical panorama made from more than one frame or did you crop a single frame that way?

Awesome Pix!

That's a really nice collection of photographs you have there.
My favorites are #'s 4, 5, and 8.

What I like about Pic 8 is how all the lines just seem to flow. The diagonal rock layers go along with the slant of the MINI's roof edge. The curves in the hilltops seem to complement the lines below- that being the fluidity of the darker colored ground with the reflection and the continuing curve of the rear wheel well trim. And that hint of red in the brakelight assembly . . . mmmm.

Excellent work Mr. Scooby!

Hey cheers guys for the compliments
its really hard to get decent weather over here which kinda puts you off from shooting - we were blessed with a couple of days shine so it would have been rude not to

DiD - here is the original pic.
I really do like the blurred version but maybe extra care could have been given with the blur tool

I really want to get some night shots done but there are little locations with well lit areas like those recently posted by Hafid.

Changing some of the original photos i took to b&w transformed the pictures.

Bonnet scoop info is posted in my previous posts (which i havent had chance to get the link for at the present time) doh!

I will keep shooting and post more pics when they come.

Digital Photography we love you!!

that first picture is a hoot! I agree about the washed out mountains at the top, you could burn them a tad which would match them back up, it also has what looks like 2 faint green sun glares in the center but that might just be my crappy moniter at work.

My favorites are #4 and #8 (tony the tiger voice) they're grrrrrrreat!

One that i messed up the link on my site :s - again ive blurred the pic to make the other mini stand out - makes it look like a toy i think :D

Some more pics id thought id share from last month from Harewood Hill Climb.

Some came out blur which looked kinda cool - ps no photoshopping other than borders and desaturating was done.

again any comments welcome and appreciated

hey scooby! very nice work you've got there. too kind of you to mention DiD and I.

oh, nice border btw

1. agreed with DiD
3. very interesting split of color/bw
4. really like!
5. a little underexposed. nice compostion though.
6. high contrast? looks like a 3d image!
7. what DiD said
8. nice how you shape the to the mountain
9. i would make the car smaller and put it more in the lower right. otherwise, lovely shots. really really nicely done. much improvement! and it doesn't hurt that the car looks fanstastic eh?
