OctaneGuy thanks for the tip on engine noise recording
Superub
Superub,
Very good! What upgrades do you have in your MINI besides NAV?
Not much traffic- you're lucky or maybe those roads are just in remote areas.
And what is the "tip" on engine noise recording? Exterior mic or engine bay remote mic? What did you use for a camera mount and which camera did you use. A remote on button would be nice.
In the beginning of the movie, when those two guys were talking I could not understand any of it. Maybe they were speaking "Australian". Yeah, it's similar to Scotish and I didn't understand a word of that when I was in Scotland.

I Just used an old computer mic stuck just infront of the airbox. Really cheap and the sound is not too bad.
The total drive was about 4hrs. You can get from Brisbane to Byron in about 2hrs, via highway, but we decided to take the long and less travelled route
