thx did i was using the polarizer and it did wonders, not a cloud in the sky on most of thost pics, but its hard to tell with the filter. im still learing on what to do, any advice will be used again...
Is it a circular polarizer? (i.e. once it is threaded on to your lens, can you still freely spin the filter) For circular polarizers, you need to rotate the filter to adjust how much of a polarizing effect there is. I know I have commented in the past on this in a couple of places, but it took me quite a while to figure out that I needed to rotate it to get different effects. I was just use to the U.V. filter where you simply slapped the filter on and shot.
When you have the polarizer mounted on the camera lens, turn the filter as you look through the view finder. You can alter how much polarizing is taking place and adjust the reflections. It's a very handy filter and I use mine quite a bit.
