Congratulations pw4 on your well deserved win. No need to flip the photo next time either.

For every ounce of gas saved by a Toyota Pious, a gallon is wasted by the 20 cars behind it desperately attempting to pass because the typical Pious is driven by what appears to be a stoned, nearsighted geriatric who's also lost and confused and allergic to g-forces higher than .01 just to gain an extra 2 MPG. I didn't even have to scan through the entries twice. I knew it was the winner at first glance. Kinda has that Blair Witch creepy feel to it
Excellent work there, CONGRATULATIONS PW4!!!
Not sure if anyone's still subscribed to this thread - or cares...
I entered the "Night Road" photo from the January competition into the Australian Digital Photography Awards, run by the Australian Photographic Society. It was accepted into the competition (only 31% of entries were accepted) - it didn't win anything but I was pleased just to have a photo accepted into a national competition. OK, Australia's a smaller nation than USA, but it was still nice!
I LOVE Australia. Don't put it down, it is far better in many ways. I'd like to be living there for the next few years!
Congratulations on the photo being accepted. Being a bit prejudiced on MINI photos I wish it had won something. It is a great photo. I hope you enter it in other photo contests--it was one of my favorite winners.
