I would much appreciate it if someone would help me see my car with viper stripes,also including the bumpers . Im thinking about flat or gloss black or dark gray......thanks alot guys

The way I've done it in the past was to select the area you want to stripe (or recolor), select Image -> Adjustments -> Color Balance. Make sure "Preserve Luminosity" is selected and just play with the sliders until you get the desired color. If someone knows a better way I'm open to suggestions.
This is using Photoshop CS3, but I seem to remember previous versions of Photoshop work the same way.
New layer, set the layer to multiply, select the area then fill with color desired. This is a slightly better alternative than previously mentioned, in case you don't like the results , you won't be modifying the original picture.
