The photo contest is held to encourage people to take new photos with the topic in mind. As a result, please do not submit any photos taken before the contest topic was announced (see contest rules regarding EXIF data). Photos posted to this thread do not count. You must upload photos to the monthly photo contest gallery in order to be entered.
November Photo Topic :: I spy...
Interpret that how you will, keeping in mind that the photos must be MINI related and that only one photo per member per month may be submitted.
If those who are going to participate would PM me with what type of picture this is I would appreciate it. I'm drawing a complete blank on this topic for some reason.
There isn't a specific type. You can interpret the topic however you want.
One example that comes to mind involves the use of a fisheye lens.
Another example could be something "Where's Waldo"-ish.. but instead of Waldo, you're trying to locate the MINI. (Okay I realize this one isn't a good example.. perhaps the first example is better.)
I didn't think this would be a difficult topic. I actually think it's more "fun" than some of the other topics we've had in the past.

That's the first thing that came to mind for me, seeing as how my kids love those I Spy books.

This has been a very quiet thread, has anyone actually submitted any photos? Tomorrow's the deadline.

Actually, I think the "Where's Waldo" idea is a great one.

God saw the MINI and it was very good!
I just can't help myself, I'm a MINIster!
It looks like you uploaded your photo to your own personal gallery space, not the November Photo Contest Gallery.
To upload to the monthly photo contest, when you upload your photo you need to select the drop down menu that says "member galleries", then scroll down on that tab and select "november 2008 photo contest: I Spy..."
That's how it would have worked this month, next month the gallery will be titled something like "December 2008 photo contest: topic"
Sorry your photo didn't make it in. I'd encourage you to post it anyway.
I didn't post it into my gallery until today. When I submitted it on Sunday, it appeared that it had loaded, and then gave a message that said I didn't have access to the gallery it had loaded into.
