Ah, last night bought yet another toy for the K10D. Since I'm going to the AutoX tomorrow I figured I should probably have at least one telephoto lens. So I got a 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Sigma (rebranded to Quantaray. Yes, I know Ritz is overpriced, trust me, it wasn't my first choice but it was the only option I had to get it for this weekend). Not the best lens out there, but it'll do for what I need it for. We'll see what I get out of it tomorrow.

I'm curious....I have several Sigma lenses that I used with my Canon, even the 70-300. But they do not mount on my K10D. I bought a few Tamaron lenses that do and have some old Pentax manual lenses that went with my K1000 that work great in 'M' mode.

Has Sigma made lenses with the K-mount? I feel like I've beeni n a cave here (scratches head)

Sorry. MOST Quantaray are rebranded Sigma. This was a Tamron rebrand, as I noticed in the EXIF data.

AAAARRRRRGGGHHHH! I just spent 15 minutes at least loading pix, went to "preview post" and its all went away! I was posting pix from a recent trip to a Frank Lloyd Wright house here in AL. Once I count to 10 and calm down I'll give it another go~

Here's one shot...
