My bad....oh well, here's my take on "BLACK"
thats a pretty cool pic, i have a few just like it i took a while back
This is a tough competition, I'll have to spend more time to pick apart the entries for my vote. For some reason I favor #6.

The winner will have their picture displayed on the frontpage of North American Motoring, until the next contest winner is announced or administrators see fit.
Oh and you get bragging rights for an entire month..
Good question. I submitted #6 but it doesn't look like I'm going to win. Maybe next month I like #3 and #8 the best though.
I actually really like your photo. Very nice interpretation of the contest topic.
When dave was creating this thread my first thought was that your photo reminded me of another CR/W MCS named "Swifty".. that for some reason or another was NOT photographed for this contest. *cough* Kurt *cough*

I'm not ambitious enough to dominate 2 months in a row. Waiting for "sunrise" for the theme.

For every ounce of gas saved by a Toyota Pious, a gallon is wasted by the 20 cars behind it desperately attempting to pass because the typical Pious is driven by what appears to be a stoned, nearsighted geriatric who's also lost and confused and allergic to g-forces higher than .01 just to gain an extra 2 MPG. (paraphrased)
Seems to me from my limited photography that #8 incorporates the most skill and actual photography, thus I voted for that. Only seems to make sense to me....I tend to try and vote on skill and techniques used rather than the "look" of the picture.

Anyone know if the submitted images are availble elsewhere for viewing? It appears they are deleted promptly after voting.
All submitted photos go into a folder in the gallery that is only viewable by the Administrators, the Camera and Video Moderator, and the Photo Contest Coordinator. This folder is emptied out at the end of each month's contest (all submissions are deleted), but the winning entry gets moved to the viewable Monthly Photo Contest Gallery(http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...ry.php/cat/650).
Some members like to include their photo contest entry in their personal galleries as well, so when viewing the member galleries you can come across some photos that have been used in the Monthly Photo Contests.
Whoah! Looks like "Contest Manager" has a lot of winning entries!
Although it says that some images were submitted by "Contest Manager," if you click on the thumbnail a new window will open up and the photo details will show who submitted the image.
