I like the idea for the dual parallel rods since I've found a lot of flex in the rear quarter panel there. You've given me some new ideas.

Any have experience using the headrest mounting or similar to the roll bars on a convertible? Looks like it should work as well or better, and not have the drawbacks of mounting to the headrest.
