Yeah, why only 4 entries??? I guess a lot of the regular photographers were afraid of "dirt" !
OK, photo 1: very nice, but it doesn't say 'dirt' to me.
Photo 2: Yes, dirty, but not very creative.
Photo 3: Nice angle, nice dirt
Photo 4: Car does look dirty, but that is not what stands out from the photo.
Maybe the comments above indicate why there were only 4 entries-this was kind of a tough subject as just a dirty MINI will work but is it interesting enough and if you go outside the box-like in photo 1 will that say "dirt" or drive in the country? I also like #5 too bad it was too late for entry-nice compostion-there are so many things going on in that photo it wiould probably be impossible to replicate. I was pretty much baffled to a good entry on this one my self.
Third's on a write in for pic #5 under "picture deadline extension subparagraph 3, section 4.2". The other's are pretty cool, but #5 is an awesome shot. My question is: who was holding the steering wheel while this picture was being taken?
Finally, a contest I could have won considering how dirty my MINI always is and I missed it!

I hereby submit my write-in vote for the photo contained in post #2 of this thread. In my opinion, this photo best exemplifies the theme of "dirt".
I plead the "taking care of baby" and "busy at work" defence for not submitting an entry this month.
