I use a suction cup mount.
http://www.filmtools.com/gripsuccupca.html

Examples.

Stuck to the side window. Sigma 10-20mm lens

Stuck to drivers door. Same lens

Stuck to inside of windshield.

Hope that helps!
Jim

I modified a $17.99 tripod from target to use as a video mount that I attach to the headrest.

Works GREAT

I am sure it would work for a camera

Hey, I recognize that first photo!
Take a look in my NAM gallery for more info on the DIY mount I used. I've also used the same Filmtools.com suction cup mount that Jim showed and it holds very well.

Ok here's a silly question.

Do your cameras all have remotes or are you setting the timer, reaching over, hitting the button and then waiting for the camera's timer to take the picture?

From the first post in the "Minis in Motion" thread here...

Was using an old school cable release and forgot to set the 2 sec. timer. I'm using an infrared remote now and it's much easier to use.
