New Camera

So after a decent amount of research and reading through the threads here I bought a DSLR, my first non point and shoot camera. Here's some quick pics from today. You'll notice something weird that appears on the hood and it is actually the reflection of the light post that was behind me. I've been playing a lot with manual settings and I still need to get a tripod to take night shots.

Oh, and the stripes are new.

Nice looking MINI there, one tip that I want to give after seeing your photography is the rule of thirds. It can make a major difference in the flow of your images.

I did wash the car but it is actually dirty again. I think my poor camera skills has hidden the dirt.

I think our August event should be MINI photo day where we drive from site to site.

Here are some pictures that I think look better but don't have the new stripes so I was reluctant to post them.

You're learning. Please post in the sunset thread, someone is hogging it and we need variety.
