Milwaukee MINI Owner Biking to Fight Cancer

Hello all,

I'm an 8-year non-Hodgkins Lymphoma survivor, and for the past six years I've helped raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, bicycling from Mequon to Sturgeon Bay over 2 days in the Scenic Shore 150, this year on July 18-19.

This organization is near & dear to our own Tom (MiniShagz) Chelius, and to me. We've both benefitted from the research supported by LLS, and I know Tom has raised funds for them as well. This bike event is my way of giving back. Nearly 80% of the funds from Scenic Shore go into programs for patients & families.

I have a team of riders that would welcome others, or I would welcome any donations you might consider making on behalf of my ride. Here's a link where you can offer a donation:
http://wi.llsevent.org/pledge/index.cfm?mid=TAGGART

PM me or email if you'd like to know more about riding.

If you would like to participate in another way, LLS is always looking for volunteers for the weekend. You can work for 2 hours up to the entire weekend, and the greatest need now is for help at MATC Mequon Saturday morning, July 18 (6 am until maybe 9?) or Sunday July 19 (5 pm until 8?). Other volunteer opportunities abound. You can call Kim Kokott at LLS: (262) 785-4244.

Cancer doesn't rest. Neither can we.
Thanks,
David
