Classic Minis in Milwaukee

Anyone have a Classic Mini in Milwaukee? I'm thinking of purchasing one and would love to see one up close and personal. Maybe go for a ride? I really should get off my butt and join Milwaukee MINIs. It would be great to meet some of you folks.

Considering there are no fees and no obligations to join, you really have no excuse.

Theresa (TNCRMPT) and Wade have a Mini-- get in touch with them.

Yeah I think you're right. I definitely should get around to joining up. Is the group pretty active?

I would say so, yes. The big draws are usually the spring drive (a combination Chicago/Milwaukee event), the 4th of July parade(s), the fall drive, and a winter holiday party. The monthly (in-season) custard runs usually attract a respectable crowd. Anyone is free to propose or organize events--things are kept pretty laid back.

The most up-to-date list of events is kept here. You can also find links to pictures from past events here.

Classic Mini For Sale

Sadly, Wade and I are selling one of our classics actually - just not enough drivers in the family to enjoy them properly.

It is a 1981 Autin Mini City Edition, originally red, now British Racing Green, still holds its original paperwork and UK title. Beautiful car that gets a wave from everyone whose path it crosses. 998/Automatic. Converted to left hand drive. Runs, drives, stops, and shifts excellent. Nice Mountney GT wooden wheel, leather front and rear seats, and Wolfrace alloys. Structurally sound and convenient for daily use.

Interested? PM me with your email address and we will send photos. Currently in storage in Port Washington, but test drives in Cedarburg are available for interested parties.

We have two classic Mini's. One is a 1979 (He is now 30yrs old) and we also have a 1981. Both are in great condition. We live in Kenosha. We just had them out for the first time this past Sunday since last fall. They were loving the 60 degree temps. We usually don't take them out of Kenosha simply because of the amount of people around here that don't carry insurance.
Would love to meet up at the Brat Stop with some other Classic Mini owners.
