Caravan to Elkhart lake

I originally posted this in the MTTS section, but it was quickly buried.
http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...d.php?t=144468

There are three of us so far planning on driving from Kenosha to Elkhart Lake Saturday morning 07-26.

I'm posting this to see if anyobne else wants to join in. We could pick a spot to meet up and hit the road.

I may be a total idiot, but I have been looking around to see what's going on over there. I may be interested in going if I knew to what. I am in Appleton as well. Matt, do you know of any shops around App. that work on Mini's?

The three of us decided that we will meet up in the Woodman's lot on HWY 50 and I-94 in Kenosha. It's on the east side I-94 and north of HWY 50. There are plenty of gas stations, car washes, and places to get food and coffee around there.
We'll be there at 9:00AM. Leaving at about 9:30.
Andy

I've registered, and plan to join the caravan. I haven't received any info about which entrance to use, etc (though I did find some on the CMMC site); should I expect any further communication from MINI before th event?

Also, does our registration fee cover admission to RA as well? Seems like it's implied...

Thanks,
David

Do we have to pre-register if we are not joining the caravan, or can we just show up at RA? I have no problem pre-registering, but my wife still isn't real sure about the all day event, even though it's her car.

If you pre-register, you're guaranteed a goodie bag. And you save $10.

I'm going to be heading up from Kenosha as well. Do the drivers meeting at Woodman's Saturday morning plan on meeting up with the rest of the Milwaukee Caravan? I think that would be a good time.

If you're leaving from Kenosha at 9am, you'll be arriving at RA well ahead of the caravan from Chicago as the caravan does not leave Chicago until 10am and probably will not arrive until 1pm.
