I just wanted to say "THANKS" again for Saturday's "HI TOM" event. Whether you were there in person or in spirit.... You all really created quite the buzz on the unit and impressed a lot of people. The story was passed on to the other shifts of nurses/staff as well. I've received numerous emails from other friends saying how cool it was that all of you did this. Other patients were asking me about the car. The usual stuff, gas mileage, etc. Of course, I was able to add what terrific people actually drive the car. If any of the patients/staff decide the buy one, International Autos better give me a commission.
Anyway, thanks again. You guys really did make my day and I've been smiling since. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
Just wanted to let you know that Theresa stopped by the hospital today and dropped off the scrapbook. Thanks again so much. It brought back memories of the day and is going to be a very cherished keepsake.
As some added news, for those who don't know already, I'm supposed to be discharged on Monday, June 23rd, barring any major changes...so I'm almost outta here!
Thanks to you all and hope to motoring with you soon!
