Spring Drive - March 9th, 2008

Sunday, March 9, 2008
Location: Two Meeting Locations - See Below
It’s time to replace the Skis with wheels-n-tires on the front of our Cooper’s and Kick off the 2008 Driving Season on Sunday, March 9th.

We will have two meeting options: The first will be at 9:15 am, with us rolling out at 9:30 am from the Park n' Ride at Watertown Plank Road off of Hwy. 45 in Wauwatosa. We will then take a drive to Burlington, WI. Or, the second meeting spot will be at 10:15 am at the intersection of Hwy 142 and Hwy 75 in Brighton, WI (just outside of downtown Burlington, WI.) There is a school in the northwest corner – meet in the parking lot. Here, we will be meeting our friends from south of the border – The Chicago MINI Motoring Club!

After a restroom break and 2nd drivers meeting, we head west on a scenic route to Lake Geneva, where we will then gather to enjoy lunch at Houlihan’s of Lake Geneva with our fellow MINI friends. Houlihan’s offers something for every budget and taste. No fee to participate in the drive, but lunch is pay-as-you-go.

Raffle prizes to benefit the MINIS Motoring Against Cancer (MMAC) campaign will be available - bring cash! Plus, the MMAC banner will be in attendance. To learn more or to donate, visit: MINIShagz

Set your clock ahead one hour before going to bed on Saturday night – it’s Daylight Savings.

Please RSVP your attendance (and at which meeting spot) to Theresa at theresa@MilwaukeeMINIS.com by March 5th.
