Classic Mini's in the Wisconsin area???

My husband and I have just moved to the Kenosha area. We have 2 classic Mini's that we bought back from overseas in Britain. I was just wondering if there were any others out there like us that have the original Mini not the new BMW MINI. Thanks.

There are, but there are not as plentiful. We'd love to have you come out to our events. Maybe you'll attract more classic Mini's from their hiding spots! Being that you are in the Kenosha area, you might also want to check out the Chicago Club as well if you haven't already.

Anyway, welcome to Wisconsin! I admire you moving here during one of the worst winters we've had in awhile.

I'm here in Kenosha too. As far as I know, you would be the only ones in town with classic Minis. I have not seen one here in my 36 years.
This past summer there were a few that participated in the Knauz MINI rally in lake bluff Illinois. There should be some photos in my gallery.
Welcome.
Local cruise nights are Tuesday at Wendy's on 39th AV and 75th ST. Wednesday at Andy's drive in on Roosevelt RD and 30th AV.
Another good one is Friday at the Rock and Roll McDonalds by Gurnee Mills in Gurnee IL on Grand AV.
If you brought your minis to any of these events, you'd blow people away.

I suggest British Car Field Day if you want to meet up with fellow classic Minis. It's in Sussex, Wisconsin on Sunday, June 15th, this year.

We already have 2 classic mini as members of the Milwaukee MINIS, but they live a bit north and they haven't been to many events. We do have a new classic owner that is from Milwaukee, and she plans to be at several upcoming events including the Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs outing in September.

And triple ditto on the British Car Field Days - great place to see classics.

A friend of mine has a Bentley. He goes to the Sussex show every year. I haven't been able to make it, but he said it's a good show.

And you are now always guaranteed that if you come to a Milwaukee MINIS event, your classic minis will be in good company. We adopted TWO classics ourselves this weekend!

Yep, we're serious! If I was on the up-and-up on technology, I'd insert a photo here, but don't know how to do that. So... you'll just have to check them out at one of the upcoming events! We're driving one while restoring the other... which means that we'll have a classic mini available for sale next year. Well, maybe... as long as I don't fall in love with both and want to keep both. I have another driving lesson to learn manual stick this afternoon.

To the 1960's owner in Brookfield, be sure to sign up at http://www.MilwaukeeMINIS.com so that we can keep you informed of upcoming events and we can all get together sometime this summer.
