Has anyone installed a new muffler for better performance and sound? I would like to listen to one before I go and spend a few hundred dollars and find out that it is too loud.
Megan - I just put a Borla system on my S. Another guy at work has the Magnaflow (I drove it, WAYYY too loud), and I find the Borla quiet by comparison.
LMK if you want to hear it some time. I'm in town the next 2 weeks.
Megan.....we have the MINI-Mania exhaust on the Bee at it has a good sound when the windows are open. When all windows are closed it has a bit of a drone however we have a silencer piece that I have not installed yet. We live in Crestwood and the car is in Clayton or Webster Groves during the day if you care to listen.

This is Jaime. I'm the guy who hosted the breakfast when we had the drive back in March. Thank you for the info. Maybe I can listen to Killer bee's muffler when you have the garage deal you were talking about. I'm not sure if Forrest is a club member but he might like to come too.
