We are a loose knit bunch of Mini and MINI enthusiast who enjoy getting together at least once a month at never the same place twice (so far).
We have a Yahoo Group & Flickr page that gets a lot more traffic than this page plus there are lots of pictures posted and a few uncommited calendar events and some useful links. Loose knit, remember?
BTW, my No. 2 son went two years to Pitt and played Gorilla Head rugby both years.
If you would like to be kept in the loop and join in the fun if the opportunity knocks, be sure to set your email address when you sign up on the group for message notification and be sure to contact NIkki Young (I'll PM her e-mial address to you) giving her your bonafides for inclusion in our club roster.
And don't neglect to share all the details and some pictures of you new MINI.

Welcome back Shamrock and if you want to join us please sign up on the WAMO site that Fly'n Brick mentioned.
Two of the bigger events this summer are MTTS in Denver and MITM at Winter Park Co. the first two full weekends in August.
Welcome back! Bet you're glad to have that behind you. Glad to see another MINI pilot show up. Sure would be great if you had an excuse to show up in the Wichita area during one of our gatherings, I know there aren't just a few who would love to see and hear your tricked out buggy. On the other hand, why not organize some really fun western Kansas event that would pry a few of us loose to head out your way?
BTW, this is the first time I've posted on NAM in a long time and took the opportunity to replace my signature photo. Our li'l guy almost tinkled on his break pads he was so excited to meet his favorite movie star.

GEB,
The next WAMO meeting will be at Hanger One Steakhouse, 5925 West Kellogg, next Saturday, February 19th at 5 pm. We usually meet on the third Friday but the time was too early for most. Hope to see you there!

Yea, and bring your MINI with you too. We all want to see who you got.
Great picture from the roof, John.

I just recently purchased two weeks ago a MCS and would be happy to join your club..Here where I live there is two others another MCS and a cooper convertible. I dont miss my 2004 Mustang GT Convertible at all after having the mini S now. Let me know when the next Wichita meeting is, and I will see if I can get off work, as my cousins live in Wichita also.

The more the merrier. We do our communicating now thru http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/WAMO_KS/ and some of them are on facebook and there is a new website just set up a few weeks ago but I'm not tuned in to it yet. There is nothing scheduled right now. We are a very loosly organized group which enjoys getting together once a month to visit about..ohhh... MINIs and/or Minis. We finally got a few of us moving in the same direction recently for a fun Saturday down to Woolaroc which may result in further fun trips. Sign up on the yahoo page and set it to receive email notices whenever there is a posting then you will be up to speed about our next meet & eat. When you break loose to come join us, drag those other two MINIs along with. We (the others probably don't know it yet) look forward to meeting you and your MINI.

The Facebook page is WAMO Wichita http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1567220527 The group is free to join - we just like our Minis, classic or new. We normally get together for a dinner meeting on the third Friday of the month.
Thought I'd drop by here and mention that I am going to be moving to Overland Park next week (my official arrival date will be July 7). I'll be driving from NC with my Saint Bernard as my co-pilot.

Hey Lobster,
Its not that you are not welcome to join us but a MINI club that will be a lot closer to Overland Park is KCME. Here is the link to their website http://forums.kcminiclub.com/index.p...69ef89f70ce4da
I just bought a 2005 R53 and will be moving (back) to Kansas City in about a month. Currently live in NYC, but grew up in Kansas City and moving back "home." Already registered for the KCME group, but excited to be a part of the community at a whole.
